Starting in the '80s, I had studios in different places and sholarships in Amsterdam and Kyoto - and did various art residencies, teaching and travels as detailed in my biography. After Kyoto University between 89 and 1991, I made hand shaped ceramics in Vienna in the Nineties, then transitioned around 2000 to mainly slip casting porcelain in Weitra, my original hometown, and started doing glass work in the nearby Czech Republic. The time between 2000 and 2012 were also the years when I went to exhibit at the large consumer fairs in Frankfurt > Ambiente and Paris > Maison + Objet and did mainly production. In-between I kept doing various objects, one of a kind or more often, unfinished series of unique pieces. Paused due to breast cancer in 2012 and resumed 2014 in China, focusing on porcelain. I am about to explore 3D printing now again and finished a tile stove for my house in Weitra in 2023.

I just love to experiment, try new things and be adventurous. More details in Timeline.
