Eggshell porcelain

Chinese Eggshell porcelain is known for its exceptionally thin body, often adorned with engravings that reveal themselves when held up to light, a technique known as anhua or "secret language."

My eggshell bowls feature Bolibai, a unique white pigment that creates raised patterns when fired. Traditionally used to depict foam on waves or snow on fir trees, Bolibai adds depth and texture to the delicate beauty of the porcelain pieces.
