Origami
Over the years, I have explored various works involving folded surfaces, culminating in my tile stove creation in 2023. The folding pattern implemented in the stove not only serves an aesthetic purpose but also provides a technical advantage by maximizing the surface area for heat radiation.
In a separate venture with cast vases, a mathematics professor once characterized the shape as "discrete geometry." Upon researching this term, I discovered that discrete geometry differs from continuous geometry by focusing on objects composed of individual points, lines, or basic building blocks, as opposed to smooth, continuous shapes like curves and surfaces.
Origami, meaning "folded paper" in Japanese, presents a multitude of intriguing applications and is renowned for its inherent beauty.
