Starting point of all my cups and beakers, the Japanese soba cup. It´s visually and sensually pleasing proportions and sometimes curved edge that is particularly good in the hand and flatters the lip, make it the ideal archetype of all cups.
Cups & Bowls in PairsTwo variants form a pair made up of a bowl and a cup. Their interaction complete various combinations of food and beverages. Michael Powolnys´ form 68 from the Vienna workshop of 1929 was of crucial inspiration.
