Atelier Stadelgasse Weitra

The more than a 100 years old barn originally belonged to the castle of Weitra and was transferred into private ownership in the Fifties. In 1999 it was renovated by the Viennese office nextroom, which is run by the Swiss born architect Juerg Meister.

The large interior space is divided into two with a wall of steel and glass. One part is layed out to form a three-story studio and living area. The other part which is a spacious hall is used mostly in summer for exhibitions but also for other cultural events.
